Job summary

Dow Inc. is seeking an External Manufacturing Sourcing Manager to define sourcing opportunities and align strategies across multiple sites including Midland, Houston, Terneuzen, and Tarragona.

You will leverage supplier relationships, analyze market conditions and negotiate commercially to drive sustained value for Dow. You will lead supplier qualification, bid processes, and contract implementations while managing risk and working with internal partners to meet safety, qualification and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or military experience at or above US E5 / Canadian PO2 / Sergeant, or 10 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience.
• For U.S. applicants: must be able to work legally in the United States; no visa sponsorship provided.

Responsibilities

• Clarify scope of purchase and service requirements with stakeholders.
• Drive value from the market with best-practice sourcing strategies to achieve cost savings.
• Assess risk profile of market, supplier and purchases.
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies for competitive and reliable purchases.
• Lead supplier qualification, RFI, RFQ/RFP, bidding, evaluation and negotiations.
