Job summary

NAFSA: Association of International Educators in Washington, DC seeks an Event Technology Manager to lead its event technology infrastructure for virtual and in-person events. You will supervise the Event Technology team and coordinate with internal stakeholders and vendors to ensure robust platforms and a seamless attendee experience.

The role requires coordinating across enterprise systems, managing deployments, and delivering actionable reports to optimize event technology.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of related education and experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project-based work, programs or projects with timelines.
• Experience as a power user/administrator of event management and virtual event platforms.
• Strong customer service orientation and ability to support end users.

Responsibilities

• Direct the enterprise event technology infrastructure for virtual and in-person events.
• Lead the Event Technology team and coordinate with stakeholders and vendors.
• Plan deployment, track budgets, and ensure smooth registration and attendee experiences.
• Prepare reports and improve event technology processes and workflows.
• Provide post-implementation support and on-site technical coordination.
