Job summary

Hyatt is seeking an Event Sales & Planning Manager to drive sales and service for hotel events across Hyatt properties in the United States. You will manage menu planning, agenda setting and hotel meeting services, while ensuring high levels of service and client satisfaction.

You will host tours, maintain relationships with clients, participate in event and staff meetings, and collaborate closely with the sales and events teams to deliver seamless experiences.

Qualifications

• Must satisfy client needs in a fast paced environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
• Proficient with general computer tools and software.
• Candidates should be extremely detail oriented and organized.
• Prefer two years hotel experience or completed Event Management trainee program.

Responsibilities

• Sell and service events with primary focus on Banquet Food & Beverage.
• Plan menus, set agendas and coordinate hotel meeting services.
• Review contracts and communicate with hotel staff before, during, and after events.
• Host hotel tours and maintain strong customer relationships; lead meetings as needed.
