Job summary

Hyatt in Dallas is seeking an Event Planning Manager to orchestrate luxury event experiences. You will liaise between clients and hotel staff, manage Food, Beverage and A/V details, and coordinate site visits and tastings to ensure flawless execution.

The role requires 2+ years in hotel event sales/planning, strong communication, and meticulous organization, with a willingness to work evenings and weekends in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years hotel event sales/event planning experience, preferably in the luxury social market.
• Proficient in general computer knowledge.
• Must be extremely detail oriented, organized and able to handle a fast-paced environment.
• Refined verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to build and maintain professional relationships and collaborate with clients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Administer the Sales agreement and coordinate all Food, Beverage and A/V needs.
• Host site visits and tastings; manage room blocks and pickup.
• Ensure smooth event execution and post-event follow-up and final billing review.

Job description

The Event Planning Manager's primary focus is servicing Sales and Event Sales bookings. This position acts as a liaison between the client and the hotel staff.

The Event Planning Manager’s responsibilities include but are not limited to : administering the Sales agreement, detailing all Food, Beverage and A/V needs, hosting sites and tastings, managing room blocks and pick up, ensuring a smooth execution of the event as well as post event follow up and final billing review.
