Job summary

Hyatt Hotels Corporation is seeking an Event Space Optimization Manager to maximize the use and value of meeting and event space across the hotel. You will oversee the lifecycle from inquiry and proposal through turnover, execution and post-event review, working with Sales, Events, Revenue Management, Banquets and Operations.

The role requires strong event knowledge, analytical thinking, and the ability to balance customer needs with long-term space utilization.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years in hotel sales, catering, event planning or related.
• Strong understanding of meeting space, event programming, room sets.
• Experience with Envision or similar hotel Sales and Catering systems.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain active oversight of function space from initial proposal through turnover and event execution.
• Partner with Sales Managers to ensure space commitments reflect program needs and optimize bookings.
• Collaborate with Event Planning and Operations to monitor attendance, room sets, and space utilization.
• Identify opportunities to release or reconfigure space to maximize future availability and value.
• Provide governance and reporting inputs to optimize space allocation and performance.
