Job summary

Hyatt Regency New Brunswick is seeking an Event Sales & Planning Manager to drive sales and service for events, with emphasis on Banquet Food & Beverage. You will handle menu planning, agendas, and hotel meeting services while coordinating pre- and post-event communications with hotel teams.

The role also involves hosting tours, maintaining relationships, and possibly leading event meetings as part of a collaborative sales and events team.

Qualifications

• Must be proficient in general computer knowledge.
• Candidates should be extremely detail oriented and organized.
• Prefer two years hotel experience or completed Event Management trainee program.

Responsibilities

• Sell and service events with primary focus on Banquet Food & Beverage.
• Involve menu planning, agenda setting and hotel meeting services.
• Conduct contract reviews and facilitate pre-, in-, and post-event communications with hotel staff.
• Host hotel tours and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Participate in, and may lead, event meetings with sales and events staff.
