Job summary

Boca By Design seeks a Purchaser to manage décor procurement for events and resort needs in Boca Raton. You will oversee vendor contacts, pricing, contracts, and deliveries, ensuring timely delivery and optimal pricing for multiple events.

The role requires at least 2 years in décor production/operations, strong communication, and fluent English. Regular coordination with Production and Sales managers is expected, including invoicing through Birch Street.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years working knowledge of the décor design business and operations.
• Excellent communication and guest relations skills.
• Ability to negotiate for the best value for the company; 2+ years in design décor production and resource knowledge.
• Understand/Speak/Read/Write English fluently.

Responsibilities

• Contacting vendors and negotiating pricing.
• Processing purchase orders and ensuring vendor contracts are in place.
• Overseeing deliveries, shipments, linen orders, and inventory.
• Drafts aids for sales staff and marketing pieces.
• Coordinate pickup and delivery of rented furniture and equipment.
• Inputting invoices into Birch Street for payment and coding.
