PBC Hotel Construction, LLC is seeking a Construction Purchaser in Delray Beach, FL to source, negotiate, and purchase materials, equipment, and services for construction projects. You will support project schedules with timely procurement, maintain cost controls, and build strong vendor relationships.

The role requires detail-oriented negotiation skills, collaboration with project teams, and familiarity with construction drawings and procurement software.

Formación

• 2–5 years of purchasing or procurement experience in construction.
• Knowledge of construction materials, equipment, and subcontracted services.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Ability to read construction drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency in purchasing or project management software (Procore, Sage, Vista, Buildertrend, ERP) and MS Office.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.

Responsabilidades

• Execute the procurement process for materials, equipment, and subcontracted services.
• Solicit quotes, prepare bid comparisons, and issue purchase orders (POs).
• Ensure purchases comply with project specs, scope, and company guidelines.
• Maintain purchasing records and logs.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Evaluate vendor performance regarding pricing, delivery, and service quality.
• Resolve pricing discrepancies, material shortages, and delivery issues promptly.
• Research new vendors, materials, and pricing options to improve cost competitiveness.
