Job summary

WW Clyde is seeking an Equipment Manager to lead the equipment department with a $300 million revenue footprint and over $100 million in assets in Arizona. The role ensures high readiness of equipment for all projects, driving safety, efficiency, and cost control.

You will own the CAPEX strategy, optimize fleet utilization, and supervise the equipment team, partnering with project teams on equipment strategy and rates.

Qualifications

• Must understand company and department P&L.

• Experience leading teams in an equipment dept.
• Understanding DOT regulations for multi-state western US work.
• Experience with collective bargaining agreements.

Responsibilities

• Visualize, fulfill, and implement the vision and core values.
• Maintain a safe work environment per safety policies and procedures.
• Evaluate current processes and org structure; recommend improvements.
• Own the capital expenditure strategy for all company equipment.
• Optimize fleet and equipment utilization across the company.
• Identify unused or unproductive equipment and decide on disposition (sell/rebuild/reallocate).
• Supervise and lead the equipment department; drive engagement and accountability.
• Generate equipment rates for projects and services.
• Collaborate with project teams to determine equipment strategy per project.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
