W.W. Clyde and Co. is seeking an Equipment Manager in Arizona to oversee the equipment department with $300 million in revenue and over $100 million in assets.

The role focuses on ensuring equipment readiness and leading a team to deliver safe, efficient project support across multiple sites. You will own the capital expenditure strategy, optimize fleet utilization, and partner with project teams to define project-specific equipment needs while maintaining a strong safety culture and adherence

Qualifications

• Experience managing equipment with substantial revenue and assets.
• Understanding of DOT regulations across western US states.
• Strong leadership and delegation capabilities with team accountability.
• Excellent communication and customer service mindset.
• Knowledge of large-scale equipment utilization and rates.
• Familiarity with collective bargaining agreements.

Responsibilities

• Visualize and implement equipment department vision and values.
• Maintain safe work environment per safety policies.
• Assess processes and restructure to improve results.
• Own capital expenditure strategy for company equipment.
• Optimize fleet utilization across projects and locations.
• Identify underutilized equipment for sale, rebuild, or reallocation.
• Lead and develop the equipment team with accountability for outcomes.
• Generate equipment rates for projects.
• Collaborate with project teams on equipment strategy.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
