Job summary

Spectrum is seeking a Vertical Major Account Executive, Generalist to blend consultative sales and account management, delivering voice, data and video solutions within a defined territory. You will build relationships, design compelling proposals and drive renewals with medium and large businesses.

The role requires travel to assigned territories, a track record in consultative sales, and a bachelor’s degree. Competitive base pay plus commission and incentives are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years in consultative sales or account management.
• Experience selling telecom services to medium/large businesses.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct consultative needs analyses to create customer-focused solutions.
• Develop relationships with existing customers to upsell services and renew contracts.
• Design and present compelling sales proposals for mid/large businesses.
• Self-generate leads via calls, visits, networking and events.
• Qualify leads, coordinate site surveys, and submit ROI analyses.
• Maintain accurate sales data and reports.
• Collaborate with Account Management and operations to ensure retention.
• Participate in sales meetings and training to enhance knowledge.
