Job summary

WP Engine is seeking an experienced Customer Success Manager to act as trusted advisor to high-value accounts and to develop and execute comprehensive account strategies for long-term partnerships.

You will drive revenue retention and growth by coordinating with internal teams to deliver solutions aligned with customers' business goals, manage renewals, and surface upsell opportunities while ensuring customer advocates and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business related field.
• Five+ years of proven experience in account or customer success management.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Gainsight).
• Ability to travel for internal and select customer meetings.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate and maintain executive-level partnerships within an account portfolio.
• Coordinate with sales, marketing, product and support to deliver solutions.
• Develop strategic account plans with short-term objectives and long-term goals.
• Identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities through account analysis.
• Own renewal lifecycle and negotiate terms for annual and long-term agreements.
• Triage and resolve customer questions and complex issues with cross-functional teams.
