Job summary

ADP in Baton Rouge, LA is seeking an experienced Change Manager to lead enterprise-wide change initiatives within IT programs. You will partner with leadership, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to design, implement, and govern change management processes, documentation, and training.

The role requires 8+ years in change management, ITIL expertise, strong communication, and hands-on Jira/Confluence experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field.
• 8+ years in change management or related roles.
• Strong ITIL knowledge and governance.
• Experience leading change for enterprise IT systems.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Proficient in Jira for change requests and reporting.
• Technical writing skills and documentation templates.
• Experience leading Change Control Board meetings.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute change management strategies to support transformation initiatives.
• Oversee configuration, change, and release management.
• Lead Change Control Board meetings to authorize or reject changes.
• Assess change impact and readiness across teams.
• Design and implement change management plans including communications and training.
• Maintain CM documentation templates for SOPs and WIs.
• Demonstrate technical writing to produce clear documentation.
• Suggest and implement change management tools and governance frameworks.
• Maintain configuration baselines for applications, software, and hardware.
• Collaborate with leadership to align change efforts with business objectives.
• Monitor and measure effectiveness of change initiatives and adjust strategies.
• Utilize Jira to capture Change Requests throughout the lifecycle and optimize workflows.
• Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices in change management.
