Job summary

Adaptive Solutions Group seeks a Change Management Consultant to lead large-scale transformations in the St. Louis/Kansas City area. You will develop strategies, coordinate stakeholders, and embed change into project plans while partnering across functions.

The role requires hands-on experience with the change management lifecycle, strong communication, training design, and sponsorship alignment to drive adoption and sustain organizational change.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of dedicated, hands-on change management experience.
• Owning the full change management lifecycle for large-scale transformation initiatives.
• Experience developing and executing comprehensive change management strategies and plans.
• Experience conducting change impact, stakeholder, readiness, and leadership assessments.
• Experience developing stakeholder engagement and leadership coaching plans.
• Experience creating and executing communication and training strategies.
• Experience developing adoption, reinforcement, and resistance-management approaches.
• Strong understanding of established change management methodologies and principles.
• Ability to independently lead change activities while collaborating with project teams and leaders.
• Strong communication, facilitation, organization, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives and shifting priorities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute change management strategies and plans aligned with project objectives, timelines, and business needs.
• Provide hands-on change management support for large-scale business transformation and technology implementations.
• Conduct stakeholder analyses, readiness assessments, and change-risk evaluations.
• Translate assessment findings into targeted communication, engagement, training, sponsorship, and resistance-management activities.
• Integrate change management milestones and activities into overall project plans.
• Partner with sponsors and leaders to strengthen sponsorship and organizational readiness.
• Develop stakeholder engagement plans tailored to audiences and influence levels.
• Coach leaders to communicate changes effectively and address employee concerns.
• Develop change communications, messages, talking points, FAQs, and leader toolkits.
• Coordinate with communications, training, PM, HR, technology, and operations teams.
• Develop training strategies and plans supporting successful adoption.
• Track change activities, risks, engagement, readiness, and adoption progress.
• Develop reinforcement strategies to sustain organizational change.
• Apply established methodologies, tools, standards, and templates consistently.
• Coordinate with internal and external partners to advance change management efforts.
• Help develop change management tools, resources, processes, and capabilities.
• Manage multiple priorities independently and adjust focus as needed.
