Job summary

World Wide Technology is seeking a Strategic Engagement Manager for the Central Region, USA. You will provide qualified staff for Strategic Resourcing engagements and work with sales and clients to grow capacity, plan projects, and improve processes.

You will mentor engineers, lead stakeholder discussions, and oversee project reporting and invoicing to ensure successful outcomes. Role requires 5+ years in technical management, staffing or services, and strong client-facing skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical management experience, preferably in a Professional Services environment.
• Strong knowledge of engagement management and resource management.
• Prior staffing or recruiting industry experience.
• Experience with large, enterprise clients.
• Experience tracking budgets/financials.
• Experience leading engineering teams on projects.
• 2+ years of sales experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage consultants placed onsite with customers.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to consultants on engagements.
• Collaborate with RM to onboard new consultants.
• Lead discussions with stakeholders on extensions, new opportunities, utilization, changes and invoicing.
• Serve as escalation path for issues for consultants and stakeholders.
• Provide regular project and consultant utilization reporting.
• Deliver detailed invoicing reports to customers.
• Understand client environments, upcoming projects and initiatives.
