Job summary

Serco is seeking a strategic engagement professional to support the NAVSEA PMS 450 (Virginia‑Class Submarine) program from the Front Office of Team Submarine. You will coordinate strategic engagements, manage records, and develop communications for a high‑visibility defense program in Washington, DC.

The role requires DoW Secret clearance eligibility, a relevant bachelor’s degree, and at least six years of experience.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain a DoW Secret security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, English, communications, or a related field; equivalent or commensurate experience may be considered.
• Minimum 6 years’ experience.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Proficiency with collaborative platforms such as Microsoft Teams and SharePoint.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail, grammar, and proofreading.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to travel approximately 10% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation and execution of the Strategic Engagement Plan for Team Submarine.
• Organize and plan with Team Sub Front Office to streamline submarine production timelines.
• Process, log, and track awards, ensuring complete packages and timely recognitions.
• Lead or support system integration teams while developing new strategic engagement concepts.
• Coordinate documentation and records management in accordance with Navy and DoW requirements.
• Develop and deliver communications using MS Office, Teams, SharePoint, and other tools.
• Monitor stakeholder trends to identify strategic engagement opportunities.
• Collaborate with government, military, industry, and other stakeholders to support program objectives.
