Job summary

Serco Inc. in Washington, DC is seeking a Construction Engineering Support professional to join Team Submarine In-service Program Office. The role requires technical rigor and will leverage your engineering background to support Navy programs and submarine initiatives.

You will provide engineering and fluid systems support, perform cost, schedule, risk, and effectiveness analyses, prepare briefs for audiences up to the Flag level, and collaborate with IPTs. Must be able to obtain a U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field with minimum of 2 years of experience.
• Must be able to obtain a U.S. Department of War (DoW) Secret security clearance.
• Excellent written and oral communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering and fluid systems engineering support to the program office.
• Recommend course of action(s) for unexpected technical and programmatic issues.
• Perform technical planning, cost, schedule, risk, supportability, and effectiveness analyses.
• Review and develop input to evaluate documentation and briefs for decision makers.
• Prepare Unclassified and Classified briefs for audiences up to Flag level.
• Attend meetings and IPTs.
• Demonstrate teamwork and professional conduct.
• Rely on limited experience to plan and accomplish goals.
• Perform tasks under general supervision.
