Job summary

Serco Inc. in Washington, DC, seeks a Submarine Project Manager to lead a team supporting the US Navy on the Team Submarine contract. You will manage customer interfaces, cost, schedule and technical performance, and provide acquisition management planning and contract support.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent with 5+ years), active DOD Secret clearance, US citizenship, and experience with Navy programs. Travel about 10% is expected.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in engineering/science management, operations research analysis, cost/financial analysis, and Navy acquisition knowledge.
• Active DoD Secret clearance required.
• US citizenship required.
• Bachelor's degree in business or technical field; alternative credentials accepted with experience.

Responsibilities

• Be the primary customer contact for all activities and update on project status.
• Lead program review sessions with customer on cost, schedule, and performance.
• Provide acquisition management planning and contract execution support.
• Serve as the single point of contact for contract management related issues, including reports and presentations.
• Assist in budget development and provide financial and management support.
• Deliver technical performance within cost and schedule limits.
• Manage staff and direct program activities.
