Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an Energy Storage Project Executive to lead multiple solar, storage and HV substations projects nationwide. The role blends remote and in-office work with regular presence in San Diego, CA, and involves cross-functional coordination across engineering, controls, finance, and field operations.

You will drive project profitability, schedules, and risk mitigation while mentoring teams and shaping contract strategy.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in design and/or construction of utility or commercial/industrial infra projects.
• Strong knowledge of contract law and project accounting.
• Leadership: build and lead remote cross-functional teams to high performance.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight of multiple project teams simultaneously.
• Review and negotiate complex contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Review and approve project schedules, estimates, budgets, and profit margin.
• Make project level executive decisions on cost and risk impacts.
• Lead complex change management events with Owners and subcontractors.
• Support development of standards and processes to improve the business.
• Supervise project team in scheduling, cost control, and procurement.
• Maintain timely reporting on cost forecasting and EAC.
• Oversee project billings and optimize cash flow.
