Job summary

Google's Infrastructure requires a Strategic Negotiator to secure data center and energy-related infrastructure for its growth. You will combine market knowledge with deal-making to structure framework agreements and negotiate with utility and IPP partners.

You will lead commercial development, manage vendor relationships, and present recommendations to Tech leadership, aiming to save costs and drive value across Google's global operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 6 years of experience negotiating and structuring agreements or leading business development.
• 6 years of experience in power origination and business development, energy partnerships, transaction structuring, US power markets, clean energy generation and storage technologies, or on-site power infrastructure project management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the complete lifecycle of framework agreement structures to achieve Google's objectives.
• Drive multi-state alignment with utility & IPP partners for long-term capacity in a constrained market.
• Own commercial development, deal execution, and approval for scalable energy and infrastructure contracting.
• Apply systems thinking to reconcile load requirements with grid constraints and regulatory frameworks.
• Integrate energy origination into Google's infrastructure GTM strategy and internal contracting priorities.
