Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks an Employee Relations Partner to provide tactical HR guidance to managers and employees, resolving issues through investigations and policy interpretation across regions.

You will analyze data, identify trends, and collaborate with Legal, Labor Relations, and HRBPs to minimize legal risk. The role involves supporting operations with proactive solutions, maintaining compliant practices, and ensuring effective employee communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in HR/Org Mgmt/Law or 4+ years of HR experience.
• 5+ years in HR compliance, HR generalist or employee relations.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and participate in all phases of local HR investigations and manage case records in ServiceNow and Navex.
• Provide policy interpretation to supervisors on conflict resolutions, discipline, and termination procedures.
• Partner with Operational Management/HRBPs/Labor Relations/Legal to resolve complex Employee Relations scenarios.
• Deliver high-quality HR support with performance management and compliance across COEs and unions where applicable.
