Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks an Employee Relations Partner to provide consistent HR consultation to managers and employees, resolving issues and guiding investigations in compliance with policies and regulations. This role analyzes data to spot trends and proactively mitigate risk while supporting operations and HRBPs.

The position requires cross-functional collaboration with legal teams, COEs, and labor relations, ensuring timely, fair investigations and sound recommendations to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in human resources, organizational management, law or equivalent major; or, additional four years of required experience.
• Five years or more in HR compliance, HR generalist or employee relations.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite. Intermediate level.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and participate in all phases of local HR investigations, developing investigation plans and overseeing daily administration in systems like ServiceNow/Navex.
• Provide policy interpretation to managers on conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and termination procedures.
• Partner with Operational Management/HR/Legal teams to devise solutions for complex Employee Relations situations.
• Deliver high-quality HR support through performance management, legal compliance, and union-related provisions where applicable.
