Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking an Employee Relations Partner to provide tactical ER guidance to Managers and Employees, conduct HR investigations, and advise on disciplinary actions and terminations in line with policies and law. The role includes data analysis to spot ER trends and proactive risk mitigation.

Collaborating with Legal, Labor Relations, and HRBPs, this role resolves complex ER issues while safeguarding confidentiality and supporting site operations across the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in human resources, organizational management, law or equivalent major; or, additional four (4) years of required experience.
• Five (5) years or more in in HR compliance, HR generalist or employee relations.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite. Intermediate.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Intermediate.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct local HR investigations, developing investigation plans, and oversee case administration in ServiceNow/Navex.
• Provide policy interpretation regarding conflict resolutions, disciplinary actions, and termination procedures.
• Partner with Operational Management/Business HR/Labor Relations/Legal Teams to create solutions for complex ER situations.
• Ensure high-quality HR support through performance management and compliance with applicable union provisions and COEs.
