Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years sales experience in an insurance brokerage.
• Life and Health insurance license required.

Responsibilities

• Achieve annualized new business sales of $200k in target market (200–2,000 employees).
• Retain at least 92% of business year over year.
• Meet new business activity and appointment goals.
• Research prospects and develop customized messaging.
• Explain USI’s differentiation to clients and prospects.
• Develop sales business plan and prospecting strategies.
• Engage in national and regional meetings and video calls.
• Prepare for first appointments, advancing, closing, and retaining business.
• Utilize CRM and sales tools for accurate data and revenue projections.
• Participate in industry training and sales support programs.
• Pursue cross-selling opportunities with clients.
• Collaborate with account management on services for clients.
• Demonstrate knowledge of competitors.
• Represent USI in meetings, trade shows, networking events.
