Kapnick Insurance Group in Troy, MI seeks an Account Manager for our employee benefits division to serve small business clients. You will be the primary contact for day-to-day service, resolve issues, maintain client data, and support renewals and open enrollment.

The role requires 1-2 years in employee group benefits or customer service, strong communication, and attention to detail. Benefits include full package, holidays, profit sharing, and bonus potential.

Formación

• 1-2 years of Employee Group Benefit experience preferred
• 2-3 years of customer service experience
• Associates or Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong attention to detail
• Organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously

Responsabilidades

• Promptly identify and resolve client issues (administrative, billing, claims) in a timely manner
• Maintain client account information in the agency management system
• Consult with Client Executive or Account Executive regularly
• Review and prepare renewal proposals for clients
• Coordinate renewal materials and open enrollment packets for clients and carrier docs
• Oversee submission of group applications to carriers and assist with implementation
• Act as liaison to other service departments within the benefits division
• Monitor and manage voicemail, emails, and activities per service standards
• Attend department and team meetings and trainings
• Create or amend plan documents using internal or external resources
• Document renewal decisions, plans and final rates in the system
