Job summary

JM Eagle in Los Angeles is seeking an Account Manager - Electrical to oversee 50–70 national accounts, developing new sales strategies to solicit customers and to increase sales with existing distributors.

You will collect pricing and market information, monitor competitor activity, and report to the Sales Manager. Coordinate with Production and Credit teams to ensure timely delivery and payment across time zones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience in sales, telemarketing, or customer service acceptable.
• 3 years of inside/outside sales experience in a quota driven, B2B environment.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily business activities of assigned accounts including pricing, shipments, scheduling of orders, order entry and ensuring high level of service.
• Develop business through existing or new customers in the territory to grow market share.
• Develop and maintain product knowledge through training and self-study.
• Send samples, literature and data to customers and resolve order disputes.
