Job summary

The Kroger Co. is seeking an experienced manager to oversee the store's e-Commerce daily operations, drive sales, budgets, and objectives, and lead staffing for the online team.

This role requires strong leadership and a commitment to Kroger's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, and safety. You will develop associates, ensure compliance with food safety and company guidelines, and coordinate substitutions, order fulfillment, and performance reviews in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Proven supervisory experience.
• Experience in the selection and hiring process.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds several times per day.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and/or walk constantly.
• Ability to stoop, kneel, or crouch several times per hour.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the store's e-Commerce day-to-day operations to achieve sales objectives, goals and budgets.
• Staff the department and develop associates to achieve desired results.
• Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.
• Ensure e-Commerce meets/exceeds customer expectations for ease of shopping, variety, freshness and cleanliness.
• Interview, select and hire candidates to staff the online shopping department.
• Meet product flow demands and create schedules per guidelines.
• Develop associates to meet productivity standards and certify them when goals are met.
• Monitor and control expenses for the department and report inventory issues timely.
• Lead planning and execution of e-Commerce initiatives; ensure compliance with laws and company policies.
• Provide feedback to management on effectiveness of operational plans.
