Job summary

KIHOMAC, Inc. seeks a Strategic Capture Leader to drive high-value Federal Government opportunities from identification through proposal submission and award. You will develop capture plans, engage government stakeholders, and shape winning strategies for DoD programs.

The role requires 15+ years of defense contracting experience, strong cross-functional leadership, and mastery of PWIN, PTW, and competitive intelligence to position KIHOMAC as a prime contractor.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of relevant Federal Government contracting, defense acquisition, strategic capture management, or business development experience
• Demonstrated success leading large, complex, competitive Federal Government captures (preferably $100M+)
• Extensive understanding of DoD requirements development, funding, and acquisition planning
• Experience engaging Government customers and influencing requirements, strategies, or procurement planning
• Strong ability to lead cross-functional teams including BD, Engineering, Operations, Contracts, Pricing, Finance, and Proposal Management

Responsibilities

• Lead high-value Federal Government capture opportunities from identification through proposal submission and award
• Develop and execute comprehensive capture plans addressing customer engagement, acquisition strategy, competitive positioning, and win strategy
• Establish capture objectives, milestones, resource requirements, and measurable actions
• Lead multi-year capture campaigns for major defense programs
• Assess opportunity maturity, competitive position, and PWIN to support investment decisions
• Identify and resolve gaps in customer intimacy, capability, and competitive positioning
• Maintain accountability for capture strategy and readiness across opportunities
• Recommend continuation investments or Go/No-Go decisions based on objective assessments
• Ensure capture activities position KIHOMAC favorably before solicitation release
