Job summary

Dover Precision Components in Rosenberg, Texas is hiring a Document Control Specialist to manage the lifecycle of production and quality documentation across engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams. You will maintain document control systems, release documents in Agile PLM, and support audits to ensure compliance.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree preferred, 2+ years' experience in administration or documentation, strong MS Office skills, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum 2+ years’ experience in administration, documentation, and/or project management, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience with MS Office and MS Excel.
• Strong typing and editing skills.
• Familiarity with Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS).

Responsibilities

• Document Management: manage the document control database and tracking systems for FW Murphy's records and revisions.
• Support the workflow and delivery of required documents, releasing new and revised documents through Agile.
• Maintain the Quality Management System for electronic distribution of approved documents in Agile PLM.
• Assist with internal and external audits as required by the document control procedure.
• Implement and oversee document control procedures to keep records up-to-date, accessible, and properly uploaded in Agile.
• Train staff in document control procedures and use of document management systems.
• Collaborate with engineering, product management, and other departments to gather, distribute, and archive documents.
