Job summary

Dover Precision Components is hiring a Document Control Specialist at our Rosenberg, Texas facility to manage production and quality documentation lifecycle. You will control the document database, track revisions, and support Agile-based workflows while ensuring compliance with QMS standards.

You will collaborate with engineering, product management, and other teams to organize, distribute, and archive documents, and assist with internal/external audits as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant project, quality or documentation experience may count.
• Minimum 2+ years in administration, documentation, or project management in manufacturing.
• Ability to communicate complex results clearly in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong typing, editing, and data organization skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the document control database and revision status.
• Support workflow, release of documents via Agile, and QA distribution.
• Maintain Quality Management System for electronic documents in Agile PLM.
• Train staff on document control procedures and assist audits as needed.
• Collaborate with engineering and other departments to archive and distribute documents.
