Job summary

Dover Precision Components is hiring a Document Control Specialist at its Rosenberg, Texas facility within the FW Murphy line. The role supports production, engineering, and quality teams through end‑to‑end document management and compliance with regulatory standards.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years in document control or related administration in manufacturing, excellent communication, and strong MS Office/Excel skills. Hybrid work arrangement and a discretionary bonus plan are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, project management, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 2+ years’ experience in administration, documentation, and/or project management in manufacturing preferred.
• Strong data organization and communication skills; detail-oriented with speed and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Manage the document control database and revision levels for FW Murphy production.
• Support Agile PLM workflow, document release, and audit preparation.
• Maintain engineering and quality documents, drawings, specs, and reports.
• Create/maintain distribution lists and PPAP/8D documentation.
• Train staff on document control procedures and assist internal teams with queries.
