Job summary

Global Logistics Company is seeking a Dispatch Specialist to coordinate high-profile logistics jobs, enter orders, and manage plans to keep time-sensitive shipments on schedule. This full-time role is based in Atlanta, GA with competitive hourly pay and benefits.

You will handle tracking and quoting, maintain order flow, and contribute to improvements in process efficiency and customer satisfaction, while ensuring contingency plans and compliance are in place.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational, time-management and communication skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Working knowledge of world geography/time zones and domestic/international routing.
• Customer service or logistics/dispatch experience preferred; Dangerous Goods certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Enter orders and set up logistics plans to meet customer needs.
• Maintain order flow through the tracking/quoting system.
• Manage dispatch/charter services P&L and fiscal responsibility.
• Coordinate high-profile logistics jobs and ensure on-schedule delivery.
• Support continuous improvement and data-driven decision-making.
