Job Details: Job Location: Duluth, GA 30096, Position Type: Dispatch, Travel Percentage: None, Job Shift: Salary, Job Category: Quarterly Plan, Shift:6PM - 6AM; Rotational Schedule (3 days on / 4 days off; 4 days on / 3 days off)

Position Summary

This position is responsible for executing a daily plan for movement of all freight within an assigned area.

Essential Functions

• Gather, monitor, and analyze inventories for forecasted customers
• Confirm accurate retain and runout times while maximizing payload and on-time performance by analyzing inventories and sales as information becomes available
• Evaluate and adjust current and future orders based on driver capacity and customer demands
• Coordinate with Asset Specialists to update known sourcing as changes occur and revise daily operating plan as necessary to ensure operational efficiency
• Communicate effectively with Load Planners, Scheduling Team Leaders, and external customers on service issues
• Solicit new and existing customers for freight opportunities
