Job summary

CGS Federal (Contact Government Services) is seeking a Discovery Business and System Analyst to join a fast-paced team within the Legal department. You will document and analyze business processes, identify gaps, and support recommendations for IT-enabled improvements across government contracting projects.

The role emphasizes requirements management, test script development, and collaboration with PMO to prioritize initiatives while delivering reliable, compliant solutions for government

Qualifications

• Document and manage new and existing business processes to support training, analysis, and redesign.
• Analyze current and new business processes to improve workforce efficiency.
• Analyze requirements and perform gap analyses for modifications to processes.
• Create and maintain a requirements database documenting how each requirement is supported.
• Validate proposed solutions meet underlying business needs.
• Collect marketing materials from industry providers for required capabilities.
• Document and manage functional capabilities provided by IT solutions.
• Compare marketing materials and deliver an Analysis of Alternatives for PMO decisions.
• Validate that proposed solutions deliver new functional capabilities addressing requirements.
• Build and execute test scripts to evaluate capabilities across products.
• Review solution configuration changes to keep the Discovery Program’s capabilities up to date.
• Perform other systems analysis research and documentation tasks.

Responsibilities

• Document and manage business processes for training and redesign.
