Job summary

Contact Government Services (CGS) is seeking a Discovery Business and System Analyst to join a fast-paced legal team. The role focuses on documenting and analyzing business processes, identifying efficiency opportunities, and validating IT solutions to support the portfolio.

The successful candidate will build requirement databases, conduct gap analyses, and develop thorough test scripts to evaluate products, ensuring alignment with business needs and program objectives.

Qualifications

• Document and manage business processes for training, analysis, and redesign.
• Analyze existing and new business processes; identify efficiency improvements.
• Analyze operational requirements and identify gaps for process changes.
• Create and maintain a requirements database documenting support for each requirement.
• Validate proposed solutions meet underlying needs.
• Collect marketing materials from providers to satisfy requirements.
• Document and manage functional capabilities of IT solutions.
• Assess gaps in technology impacting process execution.
• Compare marketing materials and deliver an Analysis of Alternatives.
• Validate that solutions deliver new business capabilities.
• Build and run test scripts to evaluate product capabilities.
• Review solution configuration changes to keep the Discovery Program accurate.
• Perform other systems analysis research and documentation tasks.

Responsibilities
