Job summary

ARCO National Holdings is seeking a Director of Business Development to pursue new clients nationwide and sit on-site in Bellevue, WA. This role offers a dynamic opportunity to drive growth through strategic relationship-building, market analysis, and collaboration with marketing, project management, and operations teams.

You will travel up to 40% and lead the execution of sales plans while leveraging an award-winning workplace culture.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of new business development experience.
• Cold calling experience preferred.
• Direct sales experience in light industrial/manufacturing, commercial, food & beverage, or cold storage preferred.
• Design-build experience preferred.
• Proficiency in business development software (e.g. Salesforce, MS Dynamics, Pipedrive).

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop relationships to generate new business opportunities.
• Expand ARCO’s footprint and establish top of mind awareness.
• Research and analyze key economic factors influencing market activity in target areas.
• Help develop and manage the execution of the sales plan.
• Attend trade shows and association meetings to stay abreast of market conditions and build client relationships.
• Coordinate and manage the sales/proposal process with marketing, PM, and operations teams.
• Travel up to 40% as needed.

We are looking for a Director of Business Development to pursue new clients nationally, to sit on-site in our Bellevue, WA office. A Day in the Life:

• Identify and develop relationships with industry professionals to generate new business opportunities
• Create and expand ARCO’s footprint and establish top of mind awareness
• Research and analyze key economic factors that may influence market activity within specific niche markets or geographic areas
• Help develop and manage the execution of the sales plan
• Attend trade shows and association meetings to stay abreast of market conditions, competition, and establish relationships with new clients and prospects
• Coordinate and manage the sales/proposal process with ARCO’s marketing, project management, and operations management teams
• Travel as needed, up to 40%

Necessary Qualifications:

• 5-10 years of new business development experience
• Highly prefer business development experience via cold calling
• Highly prefer direct sales experience in light industrial/manufacturing, commercial, food & beverage, or cold storage
• Highly prefer design-build experience
• Proficiency in business development software (e.g. Salesforce, MS Dynamics, Pipedrive)

This represents typical base compensation for the role. Candidates with extensive experience may exceed this range. In addition to base salary, the role is eligible to receive discretionary bonus compensation based on individual and company performance.

$100,000—$180,000 USD
