Job summary

Jackson Lewis P.C. is seeking a Director of Infrastructure to lead technology strategy across 60+ locations. This role drives governance, security, uptime, and modernization of core services, including cloud platforms and on-premises infrastructure.

Collaboration with CIO and senior leaders is essential to translate legal business needs into actionable roadmaps. The ideal candidate has extensive IT leadership experience in professional services, strong knowledge of Microsoft cloud services, and

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive IT experience across infrastructure, cloud, network, or related technology services.
• 5+ years in a leadership role with budgets, vendors and program management.
• Experience in a law firm, legal services or professional services environment preferred.
• Demonstrated experience with mission-critical business technology environments.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft cloud services, Windows Server, virtualization, storage, and networking.
• Proven ability to develop multi-year roadmaps, governance models, and incident recovery plans.
• Strong ITIL/ITSM understanding and governance discipline.
• Ability to coordinate with executives, attorneys, stakeholders, vendors and MSPs.
• Strong judgment and financial discipline; align technology to business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a multi-year infrastructure and cloud services roadmap.
• Lead design, governance, delivery, and support of core infrastructure services.
• Drive modernization toward secure, cloud-enabled platforms with appropriate controls.
• Oversee Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams and related services; manage cost and adoption.
• Ensure reliable connectivity across offices, remote users, and critical services.
• Establish infrastructure standards, KPIs, SLAs, and executive reporting.
• Lead disaster recovery and business continuity planning for infrastructure services.
• Partner with security, records, compliance, and practice teams to deliver reliable services.
• Support readiness of new offices, site expansions, and major technology transitions.
• Ensure cybersecurity specifications, client requirements, and regulatory obligations are met.
• Participate in incident, problem, and change management with proper testing and back-out planning.
• Mentor internal teams and managed service resources; drive service excellence.
• Manage vendors, MSPs, contracts, renewals and cost optimization.
• Develop and manage infrastructure budgets with IT and Finance leadership.
