Job summary

Jackson Lewis P.C. seeks a Director of Infrastructure to lead firmwide technology strategy, design, and operations across 60+ locations. You will drive secure, scalable, cloud-enabled platforms, partnering with CIO and IT leadership to translate legal service needs into a practical technology roadmap.

The role requires 10+ years in IT, strong leadership, and experience with Microsoft cloud services, governance, and incident management. A law firm background is preferred.

Qualifications

• 10+ years IT experience across infrastructure, cloud, network, or enterprise operations with leadership responsibility.
• 5+ years in a leadership role with budgeting, vendor management, and program delivery.
• Experience in a law firm or professional services environment with confidentiality focus is preferred.
• Experience supporting mission-critical business technology environments including document management and collaboration platforms.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft cloud services (Azure, M365) and related tools.
• Ability to develop and execute multi-year roadmaps, runbooks, and modernization initiatives.
• Familiarity with ITIL/ITSM practices and governance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a multi-year infrastructure and cloud services roadmap aligned with firm strategy and budget.
• Lead design, governance, delivery, and ongoing support of core infrastructure services (M365, Azure, data centers, network, storage).
• Drive modernization toward secure, cloud-enabled, automated platforms with proper controls for confidentiality and compliance.
• Oversee cloud services governance, performance, cost management, licensing, and adoption planning.
• Ensure reliable connectivity across offices and remote users with secure networking standards.
• Establish infrastructure standards, runbooks, KPIs, SLAs, and executive reporting.
• Lead disaster recovery and business continuity planning for infrastructure services.
• Collaborate with Security, Records, Compliance, Applications and Practice Technology teams to deliver integrated services.
• Support readiness of new offices and major technology transitions.
• Meet cybersecurity specs and regulatory obligations in data protection and availability.
• Participate in incident, problem, and change management with root-cause analysis and post-implementation reviews.
• Mentor and develop IT staff and vendors; manage strategic vendor relationships.
• Manage infrastructure budgets with capital planning, forecasting, and cost optimization.
• Communicate risks and progress to IT leadership, attorneys, and stakeholders.
