Job summary

Accendra Health, Inc. seeks a Director of Indirect Procurement & Category Management to lead enterprise-wide indirect spend programs and category strategies across healthcare-related segments.

The role partners with Finance, IT, Operations, Legal and Compliance to drive value and ensure governance. The position requires a strong executive presence, 10+ years in procurement leadership, and a track record of transforming procurement in regulated industries.

Qualifications

• 10+ years progressive procurement, sourcing, category management, supply chain, or related leadership experience.
• 5+ years leading procurement, sourcing, or category management teams.
• Experience managing enterprise-wide indirect spend programs within healthcare, medical device, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, distribution, or similarly regulated industries preferred.
• Demonstrated success delivering transformational procurement initiatives and enterprise value creation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a multi-year indirect procurement and category management strategy aligned with organizational objectives and financial targets.
• Translate priorities into category roadmaps, sourcing plans, supplier strategies, and measurable outcomes.
• Lead procurement planning to optimize total cost of ownership, service levels, and supplier performance.
• Establish category governance frameworks, sourcing standards, and procurement policies for consistency across the enterprise.
• Oversee supplier portfolios and drive cost optimization, risk reduction, and supplier innovation.
