Job summary

Accendra Health is seeking a Director of Indirect Procurement & Category Management to lead enterprise-wide indirect procurement strategy and category programs. You will partner with executives to shape governance, supplier relationships, and value creation while driving procurement transformation across the organization.

The role requires 10+ years in procurement leadership, 5+ years leading teams, and a strong track record in regulated industries.

Qualifications

10+ years progressive procurement leadership experience.
5+ years leading procurement or category management teams.
Experience in healthcare, medical device, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, distribution, or regulated industries preferred.
Demonstrated success delivering transformational procurement initiatives and enterprise value creation.
Strong executive presence with ability to influence senior leaders.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute a multi-year indirect procurement and category management strategy.
Translate priorities into category roadmaps and measurable outcomes.
Lead procurement planning to optimize total cost of ownership and supplier performance.
Establish governance frameworks and procurement policies across the enterprise.
Oversee supplier relationship management programs with key suppliers.
Lead risk management, regulatory compliance, and business continuity in procurement.
Drive procurement modernization through digital tools, analytics, and processes.
Coach and develop category management and sourcing teams.
