Job summary

Insurance Office of America is hiring a Director/VP, Commercial Lines to lead national Commercial P&C operations. You will partner with divisional leaders to standardize workflows, drive efficiency, and support producers, account teams, and operational leaders in delivering exceptional client service.

Ideal candidates hold an active Property & Casualty license with CPCU and/or CIC strongly preferred, and bring 5–7+ years of leadership in a large brokerage or agency.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty License required.
• CPCU and/or CIC designation (or equivalent).
• 5–7+ years of Commercial Lines operational leadership experience within a large insurance brokerage or agency.
• Strong expertise in Commercial P&C agency operations, workflows, servicing models, and process optimization.
• Demonstrated experience with workflow standardization, operational excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience conducting root cause analysis and implementing sustainable process improvements.
• Strong workforce planning, capacity modeling, and resource management experience.
• Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, and operational integration initiatives.
• Applied EPIC experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and change leadership skills.
• Proven ability to influence leaders and drive results in a highly matrixed organization.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Commercial Lines strategy with leadership to strengthen operations and performance.
• Identify operational challenges and implement scalable solutions for efficiency and quality.
• Standardize workflows, procedures, and best practices across the organization.
• Lead process improvement initiatives to boost productivity and reduce variation.
• Evaluate issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions for sustainable improvements.
• Analyze staffing and workload to create capacity plans supporting growth.
• Align Managed Services resources with organizational goals.
• Provide national subject matter expertise on Commercial P&C operations, systems, and best practices.
• Support M&A integration via assessment, planning, and workflow alignment.
• Collaborate with producers and operations teams to drive engagement and execution.
