Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Director, Commercial Lines to lead nationwide operations in a large brokerage environment, focusing on improving workflows, service delivery, and profitability. The role requires strong leadership of commercial lines teams, P&C license, and CPCU/CIC preferred, with EPIC experience.

Fully remote with preference for Central Time Zone working hours, with onsite as needed per policy.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty License required.
• CPCU and/or CIC designation (or equivalent) preferred.
• 5–7+ years of Commercial Lines operational leadership experience in a large brokerage/agency.
• Strong expertise in agency operations, workflows, and process optimization.
• Experience with mergers, acquisitions, and operational integration is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute Commercial Lines strategy with senior leadership.
• Identify operational challenges and implement scalable solutions.
• Standardize workflows and best practices across the organization.
• Lead process improvement initiatives to boost productivity and quality.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Analyze staffing and capacity to support growth.
• Collaborate with Managed Services to align resources.
• Provide national subject matter guidance on Commercial P&C operations.
• Support M&A integration through planning and standardization.
• Partner with producers, operations, and leaders to drive results.
• Promote use of EPIC, reporting tools, and tech platforms.
• Monitor performance metrics and trigger improvements.
• Drive change adoption across the organization.
• Pursue ongoing professional development and industry knowledge.
