Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Central Territory seeks a mission-driven fundraising leader to oversee annual campaigns and major gifts, with support from the Western Division grants team and donor relations staff.

You will develop and implement fundraising plans, coordinate events, manage media relations, drive digital fundraising, and report progress to leadership. Some evenings/weekends and driving are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years' work-related experience.
• Comprehensive experience in nonprofit fundraising, including prospect research, donor relations, and solicitation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements a fundraising plan to meet goals.
• Manages media relations strategy with local media.
• Coordinates direct mail campaigns and digital fundraising.
• Secures individual, foundation and corporate gifts and pledges from prospects.
• Oversees Salesforce donor records and reporting.
• Represents The Salvation Army in community meetings.
• Occasional evenings, weekends, and driving may be required.
