Job summary

CAE USA is seeking a Business Development Manager II to drive growth for Defense and Security programs in the US Army and NAWCTSD portfolios. You will identify opportunities, build government relationships, and translate missions into actionable growth strategies while coordinating with capture and proposals teams.

Ideal candidates bring 2–3 years of relevant defense or government contracting experience and strong communication, strategic thinking, and planning abilities.

Qualifications

• Identify, qualify, and advance business opportunities within a defense or government-contracting environment.
• Build and maintain relationships with government customers, military leaders, and internal stakeholders.
• Develop customer engagement plans, opportunity assessments, and pipeline updates to guide pursuits.

Responsibilities

• Develops and executes business development plans within an assigned customer, mission, market, or capability portfolio.
• Establishes and maintains productive relationships with government customers, military leaders, acquisition organizations, industry partners, and other key stakeholders.
• Collaborates with capture, program, engineering, strategy, finance, contracts, legal, marketing, and proposal teams to shape solutions.
• Prepares clear and compelling business cases, opportunity briefings, customer assessments, and recommendations for leadership.
