Job summary

Bart & Associates, LLC is seeking a Senior Declassification Programs Lead to provide leadership and subject matter expertise for MDR and FRUS programs supporting federal national security missions. You will manage personnel, direct declassification review operations, and coordinate with DoD, DOE, and other agencies to ensure compliance with applicable laws and directives.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of experience managing personnel.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience supporting MDR and FRUS programs.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience developing and implementing policies/regulations governing declassification programs.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience coordinating with DOE, DoD, and other federal agencies.
• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from an accredited institution.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage personnel supporting MDR, FRUS, and related declassification review programs.
• Oversee daily operations involving review, analysis, and processing of classified information.
• Direct execution of MDR requests and support FRUS historical review activities.
• Develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and operational guidance.
• Coordinate with DOE, DoD, State, NARA, and other agencies.
• Review and evaluate records containing RD/FRD with appropriate authorities.
• Prepare reports, status updates, and executive briefings for Government leadership.
• Identify opportunities to improve review processes and program effectiveness.
