Job summary

EY-Parthenon, part of EY, is seeking a Consultant in Deal Management to support and execute operational projects across multiple sectors. You will help develop and implement strategies for transactions, covering pre-deal to post-deal activities, while leveraging a commercial mindset to drive client value.

The role requires a business or analytics background, strong analytical and negotiating skills, and the ability to travel as needed. A commutable distance to the office is expected.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, or Analytics with 2 years of related work experience; or a graduate degree with approximately 18 months of related work experience.
• MBA is preferred.
• Management consulting experience.
• Excellent analytical skills and the confidence to translate complex data into meaningful insights.
• The ability to prioritize effectively on projects and the skills to adapt quickly to new challenges and concepts.
• Solid negotiation and influencing skills, and the ability to develop long-lasting relationships both internally and externally.
• You must either reside in or be in a commutable distance to your office location for this position.

Responsibilities

• Support and execute operational focused projects as part of the Deal Management team across sectors.
• Assist in development and execution of strategies for transactions.
• Contribute to pre-deal (operational and carve-out planning) and post-deal (integration planning, tracking) engagements.
• Demonstrate a commercial mind-set to drive value for clients.
