Job summary

Fortra is seeking a Strategic Sales Executive, Data Security to identify, shape, lead, and close the company’s largest Data Security opportunities across the Americas. The role is a quota-carrying overlay with focus on DSPM, Data Classification, and DLP, including Lookout, Titus, and Digital Guardian integrations.

The role requires coordinating with AEs, SAMs, SEs, Product Management, partners, and executives to win, while maintaining a shadow forecast and a strong pursue plan across new-logo

Qualifications

• Seven+ years in enterprise cybersecurity, data security, SaaS, or related tech sales.
• Experience selling or leading complex opportunities involving DSPM, DLP, or data governance.
• Strong understanding of data-security challenges across cloud, endpoint, network, and SaaS.
• Ability to understand technical solution architecture and work with Sales Engineers.
• Experience coaching others in sales processes and executive engagement.

Responsibilities

• Identify, qualify, and prioritize strategic Data Security opportunities across the Americas.
• Lead pursuit strategies for DSPM, Data Classification, DLP, and related use cases.
• Position solutions and bundles based on customer requirements and maturity.
• Coordinate resources across AEs, SAMs, SEs, Product Management, and partners.
• Maintain a shadow forecast and provide deal updates in CRM.
