Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Senior Delivery Solutions Architect (DSA) to accelerate adoption and growth of the Databricks platform within strategic customers. You will work across sales and field engineering to drive success, lead technical deliveries, and ensure healthy consumption of workloads.

You will report to a DSA Manager in Field Engineering, collaborating with teams to design, implement, and scale solutions while communicating at all organizational levels.

Qualifications

• 7+ years delivering data/AI projects and leading technical delivery.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, or Scala for data engineering tasks.
• Experience in customer-facing pre-sales, technical architecture, or consulting.
• Understanding of distributed data systems and data platforms.
• Ability to articulate business value and outcomes from technical work.
• Technical program or project management with stakeholder accountability.
• Willingness to travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Engage with Solutions Architects to understand use-case demand plans.
• Lead post-technical win strategy for major use cases across accounts.
• Be the accountable technical leader for assigned use cases across multiple teams.
• Serve as the first contact for production/go-live issues related to use cases.
• Leverage Shared Services, User Education, Onboarding and Support to deliver tasks beyond scope.
• Develop a POV to accelerate key use cases into production with PS engagement.
• Coordinate with Product and Engineering for new innovations and upgrades.
• Develop execution plans covering all activities of customer-facing technical roles.
