Job summary

Vaco by Highspring seeks a Customer Support Specialist/Account Manager on the Northwest side of Indianapolis. This in-office role is four days per week with one flexible remote day and offers a compensation package around $60,000-$65,000.

The position focuses on managing national accounts, entering orders in the ERP system, resolving issues, and collaborating across departments to support growth and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3–5 years of customer service experience; account management or B2B sales-adjacent experience is a strong plus.
• Manufacturing or industry background preferred.
• Strong computer and analytical skills (Microsoft Word and Excel).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for assigned customer accounts, managing orders, pricing, and quality issues.
• Enter and manage customer orders in the ERP system, including changes and coordination.
• Troubleshoot customer complaints from initial contact through full resolution.
• Gather and relay key account information for forecasting and decision-making.
• Collaborate with accounting, credit, transportation, planning, and IT to resolve issues.
• Monitor rebate/amortization terms and coordinate with AR on collections and unadjusted items.
• Identify process improvements and propose ideas to supervisor.
• Use creative thinking to meet customer needs.
• Follow PPE safety protocols when visiting facilities.
