Job summary

VSSI Staffing Services, LLC is seeking an experienced Account Manager for our manufacturing operations. You will be the primary liaison for key customer accounts, manage orders, coordinate with production, engineering, and quality teams, and drive growth through upsell opportunities.

The role emphasizes strong communication, relationship building, and cross-functional collaboration within a manufacturing environment. On-site office-based position with occasional site visits and reviews.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in account management or sales support in manufacturing.
• Experience with manufacturing processes, lead times, and order management.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple accounts in a fast-paced environment.
• ERP/MRP systems experience and accuracy in ERP data.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main contact for assigned customer accounts and build long-term relationships.
• Oversee orders, communicate lead times and delivery schedules, and coordinate with internal teams.
• Prepare quotes, pricing updates, and contract renewals; monitor margins and sales trends.
• Identify upsell opportunities and support forecasting and demand planning.
• Ensure quality resolutions and cross-functional issue handling; provide regular updates to leadership.
